Black Sea Siutlatch is a dessert of rice, milk and sugar, a kind of rice pudding with ground hazelnut kernels topping.

Preparation of Black Sea Siutlatch is consist to two stages – gently cooking in the pot with milk and final baking in the oven. Rice is cooking until tender, then laying out in the ceramic bowls and baking in the oven until golden brown.

The original recipe of Black Sea Siutlatch comes from the South Coast of Our Lovely Sea.

For the preparation of dessert are rice, whole milk, eggs yolks, sugar, granulated sugar, starch, vanilla and ground hazelnuts taken.

When removed from the oven dessert is sprinkled with ground hazelnut kernels, chilled  down and stand for a few hours in the refrigerator.

Traditionally Black Sea Siutlatch served cold or at ambient temperature and it goes well with Black Sea Tea.
